Tom Casey, Operating Partner
Tom focuses on organization design and leadership effectiveness. An expert in the development of organizational transformation strategies for rapidly growing multinational or transitioning organizations, he has consulted in over 20 countries and virtually every economic sector including: acting as an executive advisor in acquisitions and turnarounds; assisting senior managers in conceptualizing and executing strategic plans, leadership assessment and development, workforce planning, change management, and various innovative human capital initiatives; and working with organizations to create the optimum organization design and operating model to support enterprise strategy and growth.
Tom is the author of 66 articles that have been published in a range of magazines. He also authored two books focused on human resources practices in Latin America, and is frequently interviewed about human resource topics for various media programs.
Before associating with Palladin, Tom was a Senior Vice President with The Concours Group, later rebranded as nGenera, where he focused on Leadership Research, Education, and Executive Advisory; was a Principal with Mellon Financials Human Resources and Investor Solutions; and was a Partner in the Human Resource Consultancy of PricewaterhouseCoopers L.L.P.
Tom’s final PwC position was as the Talent Management and Reward Solution Set leader. Prior to joining PwC, he was a Vice President with Arthur D. Little International, where he completed expatriate assignments in Europe (Dublin, London, and Prague) and South America (Caracas, Lima), and was a Partner with Harbridge House, Inc.
Tom earned a BA in Education from the University of Alaska and MA and MBA degrees from Rivier College. He is a graduate of the Yale School of Management Executive Management Program, is a licensed clinical social worker in Massachusetts and accredited as a senior professional in human resources (SPHR) by the Society for Human Resources Management.
Tom is both a United States Air Force and Army Special Operations veteran. He retired from the Army Reserve as a Colonel.
