Michael Anthony

From 2007 to the present, Michael Anthony has served as Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Things Remembered, Inc., During his tenure, he led the Highland Heights, Ohio-based company’s operations across more than 600 retail locations nationwide.

Prior to joining Things Remembered, Michael spent more than a decade with Brookstone, a national specialty retailer known for innovative consumer products. Between 1994 and 2006, he held several executive leadership roles, including President and Chief Operating Officer, President and Chief Executive Officer, and ultimately Chairman of the Board, President, and Chief Executive Officer.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Anthony served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Lechter’s, Inc., a publicly traded specialty retailer of housewares and kitchenware products. During his tenure from 1989 to 1994, he served as Vice President/General Merchandise Manager and Executive Vice President, before being appointed President and COO. He also served as a member of the company’s Board of Directors.

Mr. Anthony began his career with Gold Circle Stores, a division of Federated Department Stores.

In addition to his corporate leadership experience, Michael has served on numerous boards and advisory groups. Since 2013, he has served on the Board of Directors of InMotion Entertainment. He previously served on the Board of Directors of Hartmarx Corporation, where he was a member of the Audit and Finance Committee, and on the Board of Directors of Citizens Bank New Hampshire.

Michael earned a BA in Business Administration and Management from Westminster College
