Jack MacGowan

Jack MacGowan is Chief Executive Officer of Al Waha, the travel retail arm of Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, where he is leading the development of a national travel retail platform.

Prior to this role, Jack advised multinationals on international growth and strategy, primarily in the consumer and retail sectors, was an active Board member and advisor with PCRP on the boards of In Motion and Tailwind and chaired the Irish technology firm, Digi Systems.

Previously, Jack served as CEO of ARI, where he led global expansion across Asia, Europe, North America, and the Middle East, doubling revenues to over $1.2 billion, tripling EBITDA and expanding the workforce to more than 4,000 employees. ARI was awarded numerous awards including Travel Retailer of the Year.

Jack’s earlier career includes leadership positions at McKinsey, Tesco, Diageo, and Shell, where he developed deep expertise in international growth, commercial strategy, and operational excellence in the UK, USA, Greece and Russia.

Jack earned engineering degrees from Trinity College Dublin and the University of Cambridge, and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
