Michael Louis, Vice President
Michael is responsible for identifying and analyzing investment opportunities, performing due diligence on potential investments, and helping to manage portfolio companies. Prior to joining Palladin, Michael was a Harvard Business School Leadership Fellow with Partners In Health (PIH), a healthcare nonprofit with service delivery, training, research, and advocacy operations in several countries including Haiti, Rwanda, Malawi, and Lesotho. As part of the fellowship, he served as a Senior Finance Advisor to PIH’s Chief Financial Officer and, among other duties, was responsible for leading a change initiative to ensure that the organization’s resources were used efficiently and responsibly.
Michael also worked for two years as a financial analyst at Merrill Lynch & Co where he worked on various mergers and acquisitions as well as debt and equity financings for the firm’s clients in the retail industry. After Merrill Lynch, he spent two years working as an investment professional in the private equity group of GB Merchant Partners, focusing on investments in the retail and consumer products sectors.
Michael earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS from Cornell University.
